Lab Medicine 

Our lab medicine project partners with laboratory medicine professionals from multiple US healthcare organizations, such as Duke University Hospital, and seeks to bring reliable and affordable blood-testing equipment to every clinical lab in Ethiopia, starting with blood gas analyzers.

Accomplishments

In 2019, in collaboration with Dr. Ester Aster Tsegaye at Pasteur Institute, SPHMMC, and with the help of three American medical volunteers, Resolute trained more than 50 students.

Current priorities

• Train hospital staff on the use of this equipment.

• Hold more trainings with partner hospitals.

• Help establish a supply line for the sole consumable component of the system.
